Adjusting Solutions offers a new field adjuster a service that traditionally has not been offered. The typical claims management philosophy is/was "sink or swim" for a new field storm adjuster.Claims management companies traditionally do not want to hire a "newbie" because their organization typically has very little or no field support for the inexperienced adjuster.
We provide field support and ongoing field training for the new adjuster. This is extremely important for the development of and the survivability of a new adjuster. Working in a catastrophic storm environment as a new field adjuster is often overwhelming. It is easy to get frustrated and disillusioned in the field when the adjuster has no or very little mentoring support. This often leads to an adjuster quitting or being fired. Our mission is to help the adjuster with mentoring and technical support.
Our adjusters contract with us to provide this support to them. Our fee to the adjuster is only 5% of the fee schedule paid by the CMC for the claims produced by the adjuster for the season. Contractually, the claims management company will automatically withhold this amount for those adjusters that we have provided to them.
